My oil pressure guage immediately registers maximum pressure as soon as I accelerate the least bit.Why does vehicle oil pressure guage read maximum preassure?
What does the pressure run idling? Around 40 or so lbs? It is probably a bad oil pressure senson OR could be a bad guage. I would replace, or check out the oil pressure sensor, first.
Next the ';constant pressure'; relief valve could be stuck closed and not opening to hold the pressure to stay at specified pressure. Good luck. Pops
