Wher is the oil drain plug located on a 1988 chrysler new yorker?

i see plenty of nuts and bolts, but i'm not sure which one it is?

(No ridiculous answers please)Wher is the oil drain plug located on a 1988 chrysler new yorker?
Being a 1988 model, I assume you have the 3.0L engine. Than one should have the drain plug on the rear of the engine pan towards the right side. It should be 17mm hex, unless it has been replaced along the way.

If a 2.2L, it should be in the middle of the pan on the rear also. It isn't metric and most require a 5/8 wrench.

All will be on the rear of the engine oil pan and angled downward, not straight down like the other bolts you see. It may also have a fiber or plastic washer under it.

The oil pan is a large piece of stamped steel (usually) directly under the engine.Wher is the oil drain plug located on a 1988 chrysler new yorker?
It's at the bottom of the oil pan, which is a large pan at the bottom of the engine.

It should be a single bolt at the bottom of the oil pan, if there are other bolts right next to it, it is not the right bolt.

To avoid confusion, when I refer to front, I mean towards the radiator, and back means towards the rear of the vehicle.

4 Cylinder, it should be in the middle of the pan towards the back, at a downward angle.

6 cylinder engines should have the bolt in the middle of the pan, but at the front side of the pan (not on the bottom, but on the side at the bottom).
On the rear facing surface of the oil pan. It should be facing slightly downward and at the rear of the engine.
look for the oil pan, under the motor, probably sorta round at the edges but flat at the bottom......... there will be a pretty large bolt there that you have to unscrew. watch out for the oil........
