Where is the oil drain plug on a 2005, 1450CC Harley Davidson Softail Deuce?

It's the one in the frame, on the right side of the bike, near the swingarm. Replace the o-ring when you change the oil, and clean any debris off the magnetic tip of the drain plug.

If you remove the line from the tank, you'll have to bleed the air out of the lines after the oil change. Don't do that. Remove the drain plug using a 6 point socket or an allen wrench. Don't over-torque it on re-installation. Factory spec is 14-21 foot pounds.

Before you put a new oil filter on it, pour a few tablespoons of new oil into the filter. Rub a little on the rubber seal on the oil filter, too, and turn it an additional 1/2 to 3/4 turn after the seal has made contact with the mount.Where is the oil drain plug on a 2005, 1450CC Harley Davidson Softail Deuce?
I agree with Bad Company. How can you not know where your oil plug is.

Do you know where your air filter is?

I thought all Harley owners were hardcore riders and worked on their bikes...Where is the oil drain plug on a 2005, 1450CC Harley Davidson Softail Deuce?
Gotta wonder about squids that dont read the owners manual, before they go off becoming a danger on the road.
should be a hose with a plug in it with a worm clamp under your seat, under the oil tank near bottom of frame
on the oil tank just in front of the seat.my nightster has a drain on the air filter side.try that side first.
Look for a hose on the bottom of the oil bag, That is your drain hose.
are you changing the motor oil?

are you going to use Amsoil Synthetic Motorcycle Engine Oil 20W50?
