Can adding too much oil to a car after an oil change result in oil drain plug leaks?

No, sounds like you need a new drain plug. If your changing oil yourself, draining and refilling then you should replace the drain plug every now and again when you change the oil.

If you have just changed the oil, then i suggest you re-drain the oil, get a new drain plug. Put the oil back in to the correct level. You may of over tightened the plug when you put it back on, cracked the gasket etc.Can adding too much oil to a car after an oil change result in oil drain plug leaks?
No it can not, at least not to the actual drain plug. It is just not good for enigne and it can leak out other parts. If the drain plug is leakin make sure it is tight, if it is make sure it is not striped and check and make sure the gasket is in good condition. Hope this helps :)Can adding too much oil to a car after an oil change result in oil drain plug leaks?
Nope sure can't if ur oil drain plug is leaking the seal around the bolt is shot or sooommmmeeebody dident tighten it alll the way but umm to much oil could cause a big boom or a lot of white substances coming from the exaust and I aint talking crack umm do ur self a favor drain some of the oil out and go get a new plug please I hate stopping to help people on the highway
it will not cause a leak at that point, but the main seals are prone to failure in this situation.
I dont think so but if you added to much oil i think you will know by seeing alot of smoke ;-o
No. It will cause foaming of the oil in the engine and bearing failure.
No sir it should not...
never ever.

if u have this kinda of prob get a technician to fix it.
