Welp i tryed to change my oil on my 65 dodge and my dam oil drain plug is stripped ..It does not move whatsoev?

er .. How the heck do i get this thing off ?its almost completly roundedWelp i tryed to change my oil on my 65 dodge and my dam oil drain plug is stripped ..It does not move whatsoev?
HEAT...

A propane torch (MAPP gas preferred-burns hotter), pair of heavy gloves, safety eyewear and a good set of locking pliers or vice grips. Heat the plug cherry red, this will allow the vice grips or pliers to ';bite'; into the plug. Gently work the plug loose, being careful not to distort the drain-plug hole opening.Welp i tryed to change my oil on my 65 dodge and my dam oil drain plug is stripped ..It does not move whatsoev?
First, use penetrating oil to loosen the bolt. Let it penetrate for about 5 minutes. Then try using a 6 point socket. If that doesn't work, try vice grips. If that doesn't work, try using a socket that is one size smaller than the bolt. If not of these things work, you're going to have to take the oil pan off. Take a few bolts of the pan on one side to let all the oil drain out. Once it's drained all the way, finish removing the bolts to take off the pan. Once it's off, you can use a bolt extracting kit. You drill a hole in the bolt and the use the provided bit to extract it. Just make sure you clean the pan extremely well, making sure there are no metal shavings on it or in it when you put it back on. You can also clean the pan really well, then use a torch on the outside of the pan to heat around the bolt. The metal should expand and the bolt should be able to come out easily with vice grips.
i would try vise grips, if you have the room to turn it. but first try spraying a little penetrating oil on it. then, clamp the vise grips as hard as you can to the bolt. if you cant turn it hard enough, put a piece of pipe on the end of the vise grips to give ya more torque. And just for the record righty-tighty, lefty-loosey. unfortunately that bolt is toast, and you will have to buy a replacement.
