How do you get a striped oil drain plug to come off?

IF YOU MEAN THE THREADS ARE STRIPPED THEN YOU TURN IT UNTILL IT COMES OUT. YOU MAY NEED TO DRIVE AND OLD SCREWDRIVER BETWEEN THE PLUG AND THE PAN AND APPLY PRESURE AS YOU BACK OUT THE PLUG IF IT STILL DOESN'T COME OUT THE USE AN IMPACT TO TURN IT THE OTHER WAY AND STRIP THE THREADS THE REST OF THE WAY OUT. IF YOU CAN WELD ANOTHER SHORT BOLT ONTO IT YOU CAN USE A CLAW HAMMER TO APPLY PRESURE AS YOU USE A BOXED END WRENCH TO BACK IT OUT

IF YOU MEAN THE HEAD IS STRIPPED THEN USE A HACK SAW TO CUT A SLIT IN IT, THEN USE A LARGE SCREWDRIVER TO TURN IT.How do you get a striped oil drain plug to come off?
it may have to be drilled outHow do you get a striped oil drain plug to come off?
put a flat, wide blade screwdriver between the plug and pan, while turing the plug with socket, gently pull down on screwdiver, you will feel some resistance when the plug starts to thread out, procede slowly until plug falls out, magnetize a steel tap,so to catch youre threads,ru tap in one size larger if need be,however make sure they make a new plug the size of tap before doing so
Remove the engine. A new engine should come with a new oil plug.
Try a pair of Vise-Grips
weld a socket to it and back it out, my buddy had the same problem in highschool. if you do that you wont have to replace your plug, but then you'll be out a socket and no place will change your oil for u. but seeing how your askin this i assume u change it yourself
Take it to a good mechanic. Do not try this if you have never done it before.
i own a repair shop, and you,ll have to lock on to it with a pair of vise grips and the turn it out, vise grips or a small pip wrench will do it but it may e a little hard to get out, good luck with it,i hope this help,s.
you can most likley get it with vice grips .......if the space it tight and vice grips wont work, you can file a slot in the bolt and use a flat screwdriver , you can try to drill out the center of the bolt and use and ezy -out ......... good luck
vice grips
Use vise-grips. First buy a replacement plg before taking old one out.
