Do I need to change ';oil drain plug'; while changing oil ?

Do i need to change oil drain plug , while changing oil ?Do I need to change ';oil drain plug'; while changing oil ?
no, the plug gets put back in there, change the oil FILTERDo I need to change ';oil drain plug'; while changing oil ?
No, what happens in the oil sump above the plug is that the oil gets splashed around the engine, lubricating the parts. There would be little point in changing the plug unless it was damaged.

Maybe if there is some very gloopy oil stuck to it then it would be worth while giving it a clean to prevent unsuitable oil reaching the rest of the engine. But other than that it still serves it's purpose which is to plug the oil sump. Hope that helps
Plan to reuse the old drain plug. It will work fine as long as you don't cross the threads putting it back in. If it goes in hard, don't force it. Back it out, lube the threads with a drop or two of oil and try again. A bit of oil on the plug washer is also a good idea, to help you seal the plug and prevent losing the new motor oil.
Nope, you don't. Reuse the old one but if you have to change the gasket if you are noticing a leak and if you have to change the whole plug (i.e.: threads are striped) try a magnetic plug.
You only need to change if it was somehow damaged. I would change the copper washer, though. It's usually less than $2 from your local auto parts store or 1.5-3 times more if you get it from the dealerships.
The oil drain plug simply allows all the old oil to leave the tank. When it is drained you reattach it and change the oil filter.
You reuse the old one but I suggest most of the time to replace the little gasket on the drain plug.
no u can reuse the drain plug for years if for some reason it feels loose then hanger it but it should last as long as your car
No. But don't forget to change the oil filter when changing the oil
Use the same one unless it is leaking.
Ah....no. ';replace drain plug'; as in put it back....
no, reuse the old one
